Grail Heart Tarot draws inspiration from the Ace of Cups whose symbolism is often inextricably linked to the mythologies of the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail first appeared in the partial writing of "Perceval" by French poet Chrétien de Troyes somewhere around 1180. Though most famously featured in the Arthurian Legends of Celtic Briton, its symbolism has since been adopted by multiple literary and theosophical lineages.
