Liminal?

A liminal space, in a literal sense, is an area that connects two different places. Examples of this include crossroads, doorways, borderlands, hedges, and hallways.

A liminal space, in a metaphorical sense, is a time in life where you feel definitively "in between." This could be between phases of life and love,  forks in the road of career, or between senses of self. It is a time when the veil feels thin and we are walking by torchlight, placing one foot in front of the other. In our experience, liminal times of life are where tarot shines the brightest.
